Types of membership in AFCONN
The members of the organization are divided into founding members, full members and honorary members:
Founding members are those who founded the organization and they are the only ones who are responsible for the strategic decisions that affect the organization. Founding members can be appointed as board members.
Ordinary members are physical or legal persons who have to work with the organization. Ordinary members are not authorized to make strategic or tactical decisions within the organization. They have the right to vote at the General Assembly.
Honorary members can only be natural persons. They are appointed by the board and, if necessary, dismissed as such. They have the right to vote at the General Assembly. Honorary members usually lead a department within the organization. They are assigned the tactical decisions within the organizational department assigned to them, while the strategic decisions are made by the board of directors or the president. Honorary members can be appointed as board members.
Acquisition of membership
Ordinary members can only be physical or legal persons who are committed to the goals of the organization and who are actively committed to these goals. The board makes the final decision on the admission of ordinary and associated members. The recording can be refused without giving reasons.
Only natural persons who are committed to the goals of the organization and who are actively committed to these goals can become honorary members. The Board of Directors appoints a honorary member.
